OUR ARTS

Library

by Michaela Westgate

It's been over three weeks.I said to myself, "I'll just have a little peak." Upon arrival I thought I would stay a while. Under the roof of the library.

Too soon, engrossed in books. "Said I'll take a look at the wonders that soon await me.

From PC Cast, to Edgar Allen Poe, I knew from that moment I was home.

So many books, so little time. It's easy to find a rhyme.

How I love so many books, the variety is almost unbelievable. Totaly engrossed , but too short to post, humbly and completely at ease.

Reading chapter after chapter, continuously engulfed in every word. Too soon did I take flight in the amusing sentences. I feel so free, like a bird.

Taking books out, bringing books in, watching them be tossed in the bin. The saddest part of the day is not so sad, but just curious in a new, curious wonderful way.

So happy to be here, happy and serene. Girls so competent and utterly contrary. I'm always so happy to be in the Wil lou Gay Library.
